The IT Project Manager will work on projects related to IT systems, structure, processes, and practices, and implementations with a focus on mergers and acquisitions including the discovery phases. This is a 6 month contract starting in January 2025 with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to define customer requirements and translate them into operational plans.
- Apply professional project management methodologies to oversee project costs, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Support M&A discovery phases to scope integration with company standards.
- Manage system migrations, including servers, O365, phones, computers, mobile devices, and networks.
- Assemble and manage project teams, resources, and contingency plans to address changes in scope, schedule, or funding.
- Oversee requirements, scope, and change management issues.
- Communicate project progress, propose solutions, and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Ensure quality performance and deliverables across all project phases.
- Develop long-term plans, work plans, and accurate estimates.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal IT, contractors, and third-party consultants.
- Monitor and resolve high-impact issues per established standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in IT enterprise project management, with preference for experience managing complex IT system migrations and M&A projects.
- Manage technically complex projects with high analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and business requirements to technical teams.
- Adapt to new tools and technologies in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Apply independent judgment, ensure attention to detail, and maintain organization under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of industry trends and strong business acumen.
- Communicate effectively with all levels, including executives, and handle highly confidential information with professionalism.
- Excel at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP and Agile certifications are preferred.
